The Fancy Roamer on Thompson’s point is three buildings:

• The cottage, which sleeps 4, with a full kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and a screened porch that overlooks the lake from a bluff. The kitchen has range, microwave, full size refrigerator and plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils.

• The bunkhouse which is accessed from the cottage through an open breezeway sleeps four with a bathroom in the hall between the two bedrooms.

• The cabin, that we fondly call the Hobbit Hutch sleeps 6 in three sleeping nooks of an open living room with a kitchenette, 1/4 bathroom and and an outdoor shower.

Beside the cabin is an outdoor fireplace on a slate terrace.

Below the cabin via a steep stone staircase is the waterfront with a shallow water dock and a float for swimming.

Any boating you desire can be rented at local shops and at Point Bay Marina which is on the south side of Thompson’s point.
